The dynamics of the development of new knowledge in technology, medicine and, more recently, pharmacy invokes the need to innovate the philosophy as well as management content and its role in the business environment. As it stands now, the need to innovate management is highlighted by the current global financial and economic crisis. Its course requires analyzing the causes and redefining the philosophy, content and objectives of management, to meet the needs of globalization and of the 21st century. The present theory of management was established more than a hundred years ago, and its modernization has focused mainly on the automation of processing the data of quantitative development of corporate and social phenomena. New directions and objectives of management should focus more on accountability, ethical decision-making and increasing the working motivation and creative fulfilment of strategic objectives and business activities.
